Our team began partnering with Love Community Home in Carrefour, Port-au-Prince in 2011.
Love Community Home is a loving, safe home for orphans & abandoned children, cared for by Pastor Guy Vincent, his wife Madame Vincent & their family. Sponsorship means that the children are provided with personal care, school supplies & a hot meal each day. We have completely renovated inside & out for the children and carers, & this work is ongoing as we expand our programs with Love Community. Our teams help to train local builders so that the work on the ground continues year-round. Donated building supplies & tools have meant that these builders are equipped for ongoing business. Sponsorship of the children is ongoing - with the priority to seek out any living family or parents of these precious children if possible, and place them back into their own homes - supporting the entire family! Love Family Homes is the ongoing sponsorship program that sponsors children into their own homes and then develops the relationships with these parents and family members so that we can then vocationally train and equip parents in Haiti - through our brand new Libellule Training Academy (launched in January, 2018) in Carrefour, to be able to provide and support their children in the future!

In the eight years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti took the lives of over 300,000 and left over 1 million homeless, our small team have forged precious and strong links with our partners - Light For Living International Ministries in Port-au-Prince - determined to make a difference for children and families who lost so much. In 2011, our team from Frontier Projects started building a school in Bouvier that was nearly destroyed in the 2010 quake. This building project has continued every year - and since 2017, the school now has a teacher's apartment and clinic room, a farm, new toilets, new tanks and solar power!
Sponsorship of the students and teachers is ongoing.
Sponsorship means that the children are provided with school supplies, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers, clean water and food! The Frontier Projects team treks the eight hours to the school every year; bringing gifts, food and school supplies via donkeys. We also complete ongoing renovation and building or farming projects at Bouvier School. Donated building supplies and tools have meant that the local builders in these communities have been trained as they work with our teams - continuing to be equipped for future business.
These ongoing projects bring hope and real change to children and families who have so little.
