ESTABLISHING HOPE for HAITI'S CHILDREN! HANDS ON, AUTHENTIC, COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION. WE WORKED ALONGSIDE OUR KEY HAITIAN LEADERS EMPOWERING THEIR VISION FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES!
So many FIRSTS this year were undertaken:
* we helped to finalise the renovations of our NEWLY RENTED LIBELLULE TRAINING ACADEMY - which is now housed at LIGHT AUDITORIUM in CARREFOUR!
* we LAUNCHED our new LIBELLULE TRAINING ACADEMY "FROM ZION" VOCATIONAL SEWING COURSE: where mum's and Love Community graduates are going to learn to sew on newly purchased machines - all possible through the sponsorship of FROM ZION in Australia (Coffs Harbour). This course will empower the women to help create their own future self-sustaining business.
* We celebrated LOVE FAMILY HOMES Program with all the Love Community children and their families that have been sponsored this year into this awesome program. We visited families in their homes and enjoyed getting to know them and building relationships!
* We met with all the children at Love Community Home, updated all their details, played with them and enjoyed sharing fun and games!
* we took the whole community and all the children out on a DAY AT THE POOL!!! It was so much fun!!
BOUVIER SCHOOL:
* we undertook teacher training for the Bouvier teachers
