Lyndal is another special friend with a heart for children and the poverty-stricken Haiti. Lyndal joined our team this year and we are so excited to have her on board! Never a person to sit around, Lyndal cycled, swum and ran all the way to helping the children in Bouvier by competing in the Ironman Triathlon in Cairns this June 2014.

LYNDAL POSTED A FEW WORDS HERE BEFORE SHE COMPETED:
I would be privileged if you would join me in helping to raise some money for the amazing Children of the Bouvier School in Haiti. These Children have nothing compared to children in western society yet they ask for nothing and are always so grateful with any small thing you can do for them. So on the 8th June 2014 I am racing in an Ironman Triathlon to raise money for a teacher for the school. My race includes a 3.8 km swim , 180km bike ride, then a 42 km run. the race is in Cairns so will be nice and hot. I am partnering with Frontier Projects who continue to undertake wonderful work in Haiti. A new school was built up form the ruins of the 2010 earthquake with volunteers from Frontier Projects. . I am very blessed to be able to run for these children and to hopefully improve their lives and to help fulfil their dreams. I'm racing to hopefully contribute in some small way - to help them to reach their goals and fulfil their God-given potential . I feel so blessed to be able to run for these kids .
