BOUVIER SCHOOL 2024 - 2025 has been an exciting year of transition for Bouvier School, as we implement a new operational model focused on shared responsibility between LIFLIM, FPH, the school staff, and the Bouvier community.
Key updates
* Community meetings from March–May were positive and productive. The Bouvier School Community Committee (SCC) has now been launched!
* June exams went well, and the school officially closed for summer holidays on 27th June with a GRADUATION CEREMONY and CELEBRATION - including a hot meal for all the students and staff!
* Parents will partner with FPH through our partner NGO - LIFLIM - to receive nationally accredited textbooks this coming year for every child, which will be used alongside copybooks to preserve their condition.
* A new sponsorship structure is in place, and teacher training, school building inventories, and community feedback are all being coordinated.
* A new finance reconciliation plan is being developed to ensure that all school fees are properly collected, tracked, and deposited to Mr Jean (Bouvier School Administrator) each week.
Dear Rashan, John and I were privileged to meet with you this afternoon and hear your story and the passion and inspiration you obviously have, to make a difference in the lives of the children, teachers and families in Haiti. Thank you!
We have put together some resources about Haiti, about Frontier Projects and about the very people and projects where you could make an incredible difference in the lives of so many through your care, investment, expertise and influence.
Firstly: we'd love you to understand just a little of the history of the Haitian people. Who are these people that we have been drawn to partner with? This short, video summary explains so much of their historical background...
Secondly: Who is Frontier Projects Haiti? A quick snapshot. (PS. please pop your earbuds in, it includes music and inspirational footage that will challenge your heart even further)
And finally.... Bouvier School
A LIFILIM and FRONTIER PROJECTS program to provide an education for children in remote communities in Haiti, training and employment for their teachers and a community gathering place for the entire Bouvier community of families.
