As we approach the end of the financial year, we’re reaching out with a unique and heartfelt request — one that comes out of our deep love and honour for two extraordinary people: Reginald and Johanne Celestin. We have been working closely with Reg and Johanne from our beginnings as a not-for-profit charity in 2011. All the work that we have been able to achieve over the past 14 years has been the result of partnering with these two amazing people. As our beloved friends and the CEOs of Light for 'Living International Ministries' in Haiti, Reg and Johanne continue to lead and bring hope into the communities they serve, with strength and unwavering faith. Even in the most challenging of times. This last year, their family has had to relocate to a safer area due to the ongoing unrest and gang violence in Haiti. They left everything behind! This took a great toll on all the family. And through it all, even though their old car has now 'died' - still they continue their work — traveling by unreliable public transport, or even being doubled on borrowed motorbikes — with no car of their own since January. We've only found this out recently. They don’t know we’re doing this, but we want to surprise them with something they truly need: a reliable vehicle of their own — for their family, and for their ministry throughout Haiti.
