Kercheline is 20 and her birthday is May 16, 2003. She successfully graduated from Year 6 in 2021-22. Kercheline goes to ENRCA School in Carrefour and is just about to graduate from Year 7 in July, 2023. She lives with her sister, brother in law and three nephews. We are so very saddened to share here that our precious Fredo passed away just before Christmas, 2019. We were devastated. All the Frontier Projects Haiti families sent our love, condolences and prayers through to Fredo's mother - Margaret  - and his two brothers, Christlyn and  Frednelson. 

Out of love and respect, we still include Fredo's details here below.
Fredo, born September 13, 2008, was in Year 4 in 2019 when he passed. Like his younger brother, his favourite subject was mathematics because it also came naturally to him. Fredo unfortunately had been very sick in 2019. He suffered from anaemia and had a skin problem and health problems that we did everything we could, in finding a cause. We now believe Fredo probably had undiagnosed leukaemia (after consulting a doctor in Australia on Fredo's symptoms). Fredo lived with his two brothers and  their mother - Margaret.  Fredo’s favourite food was corn. He was a loving and kind little boy. We miss him beyond words.

Sponsorship made all the difference to Fredo in the short time he was with us  - it helped to provide Fredo with his care and  food, personal needs, his education, a hot Christmas meal and wonderful gift this Christmas.  We thank our caring and generous Sponsor Family for helping to make a difference in Fredo's short life.

Samuel is 20, and his birthday is August 14th, 2002. He is a kind, vibrant teenager who loves everything to do with cars, but has struggled in school. Samuel goes to College Catherine Flon School in Carrefour and is now in Year 10.  Our hope is to move Samuel out of Love Community Home and back in to living with his mother. Samuel has a little brother that lives with his father a long way away and a big brother, Christopher, who lives in the USA who has graduated from Love Community Home successfully. Samuel enjoys playing basketball and he wants to train to be a police officer when he finishes school. His favourite colour is blue and he likes to eat rice with bean sauce and vegetables.

“Smiley” Mike is 12 years old & his birthday is October 18, 2010.   Mike successfully graduated from Year 4 last year: 2021-22. He attends NCFCH School in Carrefour. This is his fifth year at this school because he moved to live with his father and step mother. He misses his mother and grandmother, but they are local, and he is able to visit them. Yndjyna is 11 and her birthday is December 2, 2011. She lives with her grandmother and aunt who raise her together as their daughter. She lives in a home where she loves to take responsibility for helping to cook and clean. Her grandmother is a great chef and Yndjyna enjoys learning her way around the kitchen. Yndjyna successfully graduated from Year 7 last year: 2021-22. She attends IMP School in Carrefour and will graduate to Year 7 in July, 2023. She enjoys learning at school. Her favourite subjects are French and Vocabulary because she has a knack for reading. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Yndjyna’s favourite pastime is dance. She is in a dance group at her church, where she and her family are enjoy being members. Yndjyna is trying to learn English and loves spending time with her cousins and friends.
